Fitness to Work Medicals

It is important to ensure that all types of employees including temporary workers are fit to do their job effectively and without risk to their own health and safety or that of others.

Fitness to work medicals can be taken at:

  • Pre-Placement
  • Following Sickness Absence
  • Prior to Safety-Critical Work
  • Regularly for specific duties (e.g. LGV / Lift Truck driving; where health screening is required)
  • When health problems are identified

K2A Fitness to Work medical assessments may cover:

  • Eyesight
  • Hearing
  • Respiratory / Lung function test
  • Blood Pressure check
  • Urinalysis (check for Diabetes)
  • Musculoskeletal assessment
  • Drugs and Alcohol test
  • General Health review/questionnaire
  • Cholesterol check
